Changing the connection cable
Insert the connector in the left ear cup.Screw the connector to the ear cup.
Putting on the headphones
Put on your headphones and pull the ear cups down until they rest comfortably over the ears.Make sure you wear them the right way around by observing the „R“ (right) and „L“ (left) markings on the ear cup bands.
Rotating the microphone boom (HMD 300 PRO series)
The microphone boom can be rotated 180°.
You can then wear the microphone on either your right or left ear.
Aligning the microphone (HMD 300 PRO series)
Bend the flexible microphone boom so that the microphone rests at the corner of the mouth. The distance to the mouth should be 2 cm.
Use the windshield provided.
Switching the limiter/ActiveGard™ on and off (HD 300 PROtect and HMD 300 PRO series)
The Active Guard™ function protects against volume peaks above 110 dB that may be transmitted through the audio system or radio.
Move the switch for the ActiveGard™ function to the desired position with a pointed object:• Up -> ActiveGard™ switched off (factory setting)
• Down -> ActiveGard™ switched on
Transport positions (HD 300 PRO series)
You can twist the headphone ear pads as shown below for transport.
